Sponsorship Level 1 - Local Sponsors

The flight is carefully divided into individual legs that lead from one airfield to the next.  Some of these legs are simply to navigate around restricted airspace, while most involve landing to promote the mission, interact with students, and refuel.

Leg Sponsorships are available for local businesses that would like to sponsor an individual leg of the flight.  These legs vary from 20 miles to 200 miles and the prices vary by the distance of each leg traveled.  School children will be participating in most legs along the journey, so this is a perfect opportunity to show support in your community.  You are also encouraged to promote the event to everyone in your sphere of influence and your community to build excitement and maximize your sponsorship exposure.

We suggest that you or your representative be present for the take-off of your sponsored leg.  Depending on the airport allowances, you may provide water or refreshments to the viewers and have your own promotional staff on hand to take picture with Michael (great promotion for attendees too.)  Volunteers from your company or organization should be on hand to facilitate whatever functions are necessary from pushing the plane to setting up microphones. 

Your sponsored leg of the trip includes:

 

• Your company name on our website (beginning immediately -- early birds get more exposure!)

• Social networking subgroup on the Flight for the Human Spirit website - which will begin immediately to help you build momentum and get more bang for your buck

• "Official sponsor" logo

• Advance notice of press releases

• Prominent logo spotlight (and web links) on our website and webcam videos -- viewable for the length of time that the aircraft is in the air for the leg sponsored

• Exclusive rights to promote the leg and landing/takeoff event

• Mention in all press opportunites for that leg (local press only)

• Consultation with our staff to help strategize the marketing opportunities for your local area as well as your landing/take-off event. 

This price is surprisingly affordable to encourage local business leaders who value the importance of the Human Spirit and to be a part of this historic journey.

To sponsor a mission leg, first look at the route map to determine if the mission will be landing at, our near your location.  If not, then you may want to travel to the nearest take-off point.
